Transition Day was held on Wednesday, August 15, and saw an influx of students try out big school.
Year 7 adviser in 201, Derrick Craigie, said the students enjoyed their day experiencing many aspects of the secondary school life.
Pupils participated in sessions run by the English/HSIE staff.
In term 4 students will participate in their final transition day to be held with sessions run by the Teaching and Learning Faculty.
Meanwhile in the rest of the school, Acting Principal Gillian Davis said the calendar was filling fast for the rest of the year.
“NAPLAN results were issued to students in Years 2,5,7 and 9 last week,” she said.
“This week we host our annual Education Week celebrations along with the ever entertaining Snowball and the running of the Guyra Gift.”
Parents are invited to attend the event on Thursday, August 24 at 9.50am.
