Summer is just around the corner and Armidale Touch Association is gearing up for a big season.
There has already been plenty of interest shown in the annual competition.
"I only opened the nominations on Tuesday and I have already had 10 teams nominate,” association president Terry Carson said.
Along with the weekly competition, Armidale touch is looking to put together representative sides to travel to carnivals around the state.
"This is the first time in a long time we are actually looking to take teams away to representative carnivals a bit later in the year so we are trying to put teams together,” Carson said.
