- Anthony Albrecht
"We're really excited to be presenting Where Song Began at the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM)," Mr Albrecht said.
"It's a show we've developed over the last 18 months, roughly, and it tells the story of songbird evolution, based on Tim Low's book of the same name.
"He did a huge amount of research and realised that songbirds evolved in Australia long before they did in Europe. So, birds like the Nightingale and the Lark which are thought of as the quintessential, or "proper" songbirds, are actually much younger relatives of the Lyre Bird or the Australian Magpie."
