The Rams will host 2018 runners-up Glen Innes at Rugby League Park for their round two fixture.
In Moree last Sunday, the Rams let in 60 points with four tries coming in the opening 15 minutes.
Coach Luke Kirkby believes his team have the ability to bounce back and topple Glen Innes but they have to turn up with the right mindset.
"My boys just have to want it more," he said.
"If they turn up on Sunday wanting to win, and have the right attitude and be more disciplined, then I honestly reckon we could win.

"The Boars were not the were not a 60-point team we let them be."
Kirkby said the key is a good start and not repeating the same early mistakes they made against Moree.
"But if we give Glen the start we gave Boars they will make sure they put us away," he said.
There is only one key omission from the team who took on the Boars with young half Tyler Carson out through injury.
Johnboy Quinlan will come into the side in Tyler's place.
Group 19 president Terry Carson named the league tag match as "the game of the round."
Glen Innes are coming off a dominant 36-6 victory over Narwan while the Rams were too good for the Boars, winning 28-16.
A debutante for the Magpies scored three tries while Taneika Landsborough snagged a hat-trick for the Rams.
The visitors will be missing a host of players but Rams coach Jess Smith said her team are full-strength.
Smith targeted defence as a key area her side need to focus on.
"We will be working on tightening up our defence and our line speed this week," she said.
"We have worked on a few attacking strategies that we also hope to implement for this game.
"Glen Innes is always an extremely strong side, and our communication within our side will play a key role."
The under 18s are also scheduled to play after the Rams forfeited against the Boars.
Matches start at 12pm.
