Seven members of Archers club traveled to Wollongong last week to contest the state field championships and finished with four gold medals and one silver.
Dennis Carson won the veteran compound division finishing with the second best score overall for the weekend.
New club members Brodie Hatch, Jamie Hatch and Josie Hatch all competed well.
Brodie won the cadet compound division, Jamie took out the recurve intermediate division and Josie finished second in the cub compound division.
The Hatch family travel from Singleton to shoot in Armidale and to be coached by Dennis who was very pleased with their achievements.
Ella-rose Carson took gold in the recurve intermediate division continuing her success of a gold State Indoor medal and silver National indoor medal.
Locally members shot a Fita 720 followed by morning tea to farewell Novi who is returning home to Indonesia.

The next event on the state calendar is in three weeks with the state target championships being contested in Penrith.
The Armidale Archers have 10 members busily preparing for these.
Club shooting will be held on Sunday from 9am at the Rockvale Road range.
Preparations are well underway for the National Youth Championships which will be hosted by the Armidale club in April next year.
