The 47-year-old was arrested and taken to the Glen Innes Police Station on Tuesday morning after detectives executed the search warrant at a Glen Innes home.
The arrest comes after an ongoing investigation by the NSW Sex Crimes Squad’s Child Exploitation Internet Unit (CEIU).
In April 2016, detectives from the CEIU searched a home in Glen Innes, where they located and seized devices allegedly containing child abuse material.
A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with child sex offences at this time. He is currently before the courts.
The woman will re-appear at Armidale Local Court on October 5.
