St Alberts College’s Martin Murray and James Mackenzie will ride from Moree to Broome next month as a fundraiser for Aussie Helpers. The duo has been busy fundraising for what they’ve dubbed the East to Westie Postie Ride For Farmers.
So far they have raised close to $1400 for the organisation, which assists farming families affected by drought. Mr Mackenzie said they liked adventure and had been talking about it for years.
“After it started to get serious, we decided to do it for charity,” he said.
