A bush fire is burning in the area of Guyra Road, Ebor and has burnt out more than 21,450 hectares, but was described by the NSW RFS as controlled, and fire activity has eased across the fireground.
The fire is burning in the area of Guyra Road, west of Ebor and has crossed Waterfall Way. It will most likely merge with the Carrai East fire near the Styx River today.

The Carrai Creek fire has burnt out about 197,407 hectares, and if you are in the area of Lower Creek, Upper Colombatti Creek or west of Kempsey, then NSW RFS advises you to monitor conditions, as are landowners and residents in the area of Oaky River, Tanners Road or Jeogla, Waterfall Way, Point Lookout Road, Ebor or Wongwibinda.
NSW RFS has warned Waterfall Way may close due to smoke in the area and police have asked motorists to drive to the conditions and check Live Traffic NSW for updates.
