POLICE officers from Armidale Local Area Command have seized more than six grams of the drug ice.

Officers found the drug after they stopped a car on Dangar Street.

The car was searched at 8:25pm on Saturday.

A 25-year-old woman was found in possession of more than twice the indictment quantity.

The estimated street value of the ice is between $3000 and $4000.

The young woman will face charges at the Armidale Local Court with the date still to be confirmed.
