ANZAC Day commemorations have begun in the city, kicking off with a Gun Fire Breakfast at the Armidale Ex-Services Club.

Veterans, their families sand military personnel sat down to breakfast just before 5am this morning.
The meal was followed by a Pre-Dawn Service at the club's Memorial Fountain, where wreaths were laid.
The crowd then assembled outside the Armidale Court House before marching through the streets to the Dawn Service in Central Park.
Hundreds of residents turned out for the moving service.
The Ex-Services Club is now open for breakfast, and will close at 10.30am ahead of the service and parade at 11am.
At 12.15am the club will play host to the Anzac Day Luncheon, with Two-Up to played at about 2pm.
