So we will start at the start and with Roger and John scoring on the first four ends, went to an 8-0 lead. They then stretched it out to 13-3.
Roger and John pounced again, going out to a lead of 18-10.
Cameron and Robert then surged back at ‘em to be trailing 16-18.
After 19 ends and with two to play, Roger and John held a one shot lead (22-21).
At the conclusion of this match, the result was a victory to Roger and John by 24 shots to 22. Roger and John won 11 ends, Cameron and Robert won 10 ends.
Sunday, we witnessed C Stanley (-6) and D Kennedy (-8) duel it out in a Semi-Final of Handicap Singles.
Col came out first going to an early 4 to minus 2 lead. Not to be outdone, Dan had his turn and after end nine was trailing 6-8.
Col to the fore once more, sneaking away to be leading 12-8 after 14 (game on, we thought).
At this stage, Col then went up a couple of gears, winning 9 of the next 11 ends, going to virtually an unassailable lead of 30-10, before finally tasting victory to the tune of 31-17.
