It was another disappointing performance by Armidale, albeit at the hands of an impressive Tamworth side. Tamworth won the toss and batted first and Armidale failed to make inroads early as Adam Lole (29) and Matt Everett (48) built an 83-run opening stand.
Sam Uphill (2-49) snared Lole for the opening wicket, but that just brough in-form skipper Ben Middlebrook (68) to the crease.
Tamworth would go on to make a whopping 8-245 from their 50 overs with Uphill the only multiple wicket taker.
Armidale struggled throughout their run chase and were trampled for just 76 inside 27 overs.
Opener Brad Smith (17) top scored for Armidale with Uphill (16) and Karl Triebe (10) the only two players to reach double figures.
