Stirling Osland was Armidale's only winner for the first full TAB meet of the season at the local jockey club on Sunday.
In her fourth start for the Armidale trainer after previously being trained by Mornington trainer Shane Nichols, Deep Mirror brought up the third win of her career in the Class 2 1400 metre Handicap.
The four-year-old mare was ridden by Ashley Morgan to win by one-and-a-half lengths.
It was Morgan's second victory for the day after winning the opening Colts, Gelding and Entires Maiden Plate 1300m with Jacob Perrett's Clogs.
Paddy Cunningham's Mighty Mary led for much of the Fillies and Mares Maiden before Kris Lees' Exolay came over the top of her at the end.
Perrett had another winner in Jousting, this time with Ben Looker in the saddle, in the 1900m Class 1 and Maiden.
Tamworth's Jane Clement scored the money in the 1100m Maiden Handicap with Rockdog.
Sue Grills then prevailed in the Benchmark 58 over 1300m with Crimson Rose
Lees claimed a second with French Marine in the 1100m Benchmark 58.
Armidale meet next on October 7 for the Spring Cup.
It is not yet known whether crowds will be permitted trackside.
