Last year as thousands enjoyed the Walcha Show, it was announced that NSW residents would need to abide by strict rules and social distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19 starting from midnight the day after the show ended.
This year the community spirit was palpable as thousands enjoyed a slightly modified show within the current relaxed COVI-19 safety guidelines.

The easing of social restrictions and the cancelling of many shows on the coast has resulted in bumper attendance for the shows that go ahead.
The Walcha Show poultry pavilion was filled with more birds than ever before - close to 400 entries were received.
Recent rain meant the horticultural pavilion and vegetable displays were also up there with the best years.
As MP Adam Marshall outlined in his opening speech - if the local show is a window into a community's soul, then Walcha is in wonderful shape, and the future looks bright.
