Pauline Levingston was honoured for a lifetime of service.
Over the years, Pauline has helped run both indoor and field hockey, been actively involved with the Walcha P & C Association, led the Brownies Scouting Group for ten years and was involved with the Girl Guides and local Scouts.
The local pony club and swimming club also benefited from Pauline's organisational skills.
She has been a passionate helper of the Lions Club for 30 years and became Secretary of the Walcha Branch of the Children's Charitable Organisation as well as Walcha's Australia Day and Debutante Ball Committees. Her work also reached beyond Walcha through her support of the Royal Far West from 1973.
The Honour Roll is an initiative of the NSW Government's Rural Women's Network and recognises women for their valuable volunteer roles and their outstanding contribution to society.
"It was a great privilege to present Pauline with her well-deserved framed certificate and 2020 Honour Roll Booklet," Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said.
"Her commitment to Walcha has been inspirational," he said.
Mr Anderson said Walcha had benefitted greatly from Pauline's exemplary commitment to her community.
"She is most deserving to be included in the 2020 Hidden Treasures Honour Roll."
