Bilal Mohammed put in his best bowling effort in Servies colours with a five-wicket haul.
Skipper John Elliot said, combined with their bowlers' efforts, he was impressed with the "intensity" his team "maintained" throughout their fielding.
"It was good to beat the top of the ladder, they have been the benchmark for most of the season," he said.
"I suppose our bowling really set us up, on the back of Bilal Mohammed taking his first five-fa.
"The hard work during the off season is starting to pay off."

City elected to bat and started comfortably, with Andrew Skinner and Ash Clee opening for a 45-run partnership.
While Mohammed did most of the damage with the ball, it was Nick Levy who snared the first wicket of Clee for 20.
Mohammed then chimed in when he sent Skinner packing for 27.
He then sent Anton Peenz back to the sheds as quickly as he entered.
Skipper John Elliot then claimed Aran Kenna for one before Mohammed then dismissed Mat Scully for a duck.
He then scored his fourth with Andrew Kirk on four.
Elliot then brought up his brace with Riley Bomford bowled on one.
Simon Stubbs and City skipper Karl Triebe then put on a late partnership with Stubbs hitting 27 before he was caught off Jarrod Burton's bowling.
James Napper didn't spend long at the crease before Jared Veall claimed him leg-before-wicket.
Mohammed jagged the final wicket of Triebe for 19 to bring up his 5-25 tally and City were all out for 113.
When they set out to chase down the required runs, things started poorly.
Nathan Withnell was run out on three before Triebe snared his four wickets.
The first was Dhruv Patel lbw for eight before Ritesh Shekhawat's introduction to Armidale first grade from Glen Innes was short-lived with a duck.
Triebe then sent Nathan Street packing for six and then Burton for a duck.
But Mohammed and Levy weren't letting the game get away from them.
Mohammed added 30 runs before Stubbs brought his stand to an end while Levy fired, hitting five fours and three sixes on his way to 57 not out.
Elliot was the remaining batsman at the crease as Servies reached 115 runs.
"With the stick, a little bit shaky at the top there, things have to improve," Elliot said.
"I am super impressed with Bill's batting.
"And Nicko, just a great knock."
The key for Servies is to take that form into their next match in two weeks when they play Hillgrove.
"I just hope after the bye, when we play Hillgrove in a fortnight's time, we can start where we left off," Elliot said.
