"I'd like to thank everyone who reviewed the Local Strategic Planning Statement during September, tuned in to watch our online information session, took our online survey or wrote to council to provide their feedback."

"The purpose of this document is to help council serve the community for the next 20 years, so we appreciate those who took the opportunity to give input and communicate with us the needs and priorities of the community."
"We look forward to the continuing process of community consultation and feedback to enhance this document."
The Uralla Shire Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) sets out the 20-year vision for the Uralla Shire, demonstrates how change will be managed, and identifies local priorities for updating council documents such as the Local Environmental Plan and Development Control Plan.
The Uralla Shire LSPS is an evolving document which will be updated to meet the shire's evolving needs in the future on an ongoing, regular basis.
As this is a new plan within council's strategies for the shire, additional consultation and development of the plan will occur over the next year.
The LSPS will then be reviewed and re-adopted by council at least every four years to coincide with council's review of the Uralla Shire Community Strategic Plan.
