But coach Anthony Gray has encouraged his side to not get too far ahead of themselves in what is shaping up to be a tough Sport UNE Football League competition.
"There's not a lot you can take out of it because TAS were under-strength," he said.
"They had the player the week before sent off and a couple of players weren't available."
With two wins and a tight loss, Gray has been impressed by the confidence his young side is developing.
But he has warned his team to not get complacent as they prepare to take on South Armidale Green.
"We have a bit of history with them," he told The Express.
"They were actually our bogey team last year so we always seem to struggle against them."
"They are quite a physical, aggressive side so it will be interesting to see how we will hold up against that but we are actually building a bit of confidence now with the guys; they are getting to that point where they are starting to be competitive and actually believe they can win."
