Robson was the recipient of an Arts North West micro grant, designed to support local arts practice during COVID-19, while being as flexible as possible.
The workshops will be open to Year 11 and 12 students, and university students, based in the New England and North West.
Robson will be joined in facilitating these workshops by three professional actors based in Sydney.
The workshops will end with a rehearsed reading of the play with both the students and professional actors.
Robson grew up in Tamworth, then studied theatre at the University of New England.
While in Armidale he worked with Felt Tip Theatre Company, and Two Sticks Theatre, to produce several small- and large-scale plays, some of which toured the region.
He studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Drama in London, and had secured a scholarship to study at Shakespeare's Globe before the pandemic.
He recently relocated to Inverell from Sydney.
He said it is hoped that these workshops will lead to a season of live performances across the region once the lockdown has ended.
