The 60th annual Zone 13 Pony Club Jamboree was held in Inverell at the weekend and it proved very successful for riders from the Armidale region.

Friday saw the dressage, show jumping and campdraft competitions. Saturday was flat riding with teams of fours starting the day, followed by the remaining ring events of hack, rider, pairs and bareback.
Sporting began that afternoon with the bonfield bounce and barrel race.
Sunday was final day with sporting flag race, bending, and cloverleaf with the end of the competition running with the final of the flag and bend.
Guyra results: The presentation rounded out the event with Guyra riders winning champion and reserve in their categories.
Jessica Fletcher was the reserve champion under seven girl.
The Bourke boys, Patrick and Joshua, had a successful weekend with Patrick receiving the champion under seven boy and Joshua receiving reserve, on a countback, in the seven to nine boys' category.
Aberfoyle's Abbie Kelly, riding for Armidale, also finished with the seven and under nine years girls' champion.
Kingstown results: Seven riders represented the club and collectively they earned the small clubs' highest pointscore.
Brodie Meredith received the 11 to 13 years boys' champion while Lillian Meredith finished with reserve in nine to 11 girls and Hayden Taylor was reserve in nine to 11 boys.
Their senior team of four also came fifth after their workout.
Bundarra results: Bundarra took a team of 16 riders and even managed three teams of four. Junior team consisting of Ebonie Lewis, Connor Lewis, Lucy Buckman and Delilah Layton finished third from 11 teams.
Amber Lewis won the 13 and under 15 dressage. In the 11 and under 13 dressage Ebonie Lewis finished second with Delilah Layton third. Delilah also picked up second in pony hack not exceeding 12.2hh and fourth in bareback. Delilah and Ebonie placed third in pairs.
Clubs and their members were approached for results but no others were made available at the time the Armidale Express went to press.
