Fire fighters met Samantha this week as she presented them with her donation.
"We were extremely grateful to accept the cartons of drinking water for the RFS," the RFS volunteer said.
Sammy went into Coles at Yamba and told the manager, that bottled water was needed. Samantha had seen many fire trucks along the Waterfall Way between Ebor and Dorrigo.
The Coles Manager, Mrs Natasha Miles gave Sammy 10 cartons and several large bottles of water. Later that day Sammy personally delivered the water to grateful fire fighters along Waterfall Way.
Sammy thought that fire fighting must be very hot and thirsty work unfortunately, when Sammy arrived in Ebor it had started to snow.
"I know how the firefighter fought the fires in such poor conditions.
"Fighting these massive fires with the winds gusting so hard and in freezing conditions must be so difficult, perhaps I should have brought hot coffee instead?" Samantha said.
