Figures released at council's Ordinary Monthly Meeting on Tuesday revealed the VIC numbers had lifted with a total of 752 visitors in July, an increase of 36.98 per cent on the June figure of 549.
Of the Central Northern Library Group's 15 branches, Uralla Library's 1454 loans and 12 new members had it ranked fourth highest for July, just behind the larger libraries and communities of Tamworth, South Tamworth and Narrabri.
"We're very fortunate to have an excellent group of staff and volunteers. We are lucky to have people who care and like promote our area," Cr Pearce said.

"At our meeting we discussed the relevant stats of both organisations. Visitor numbers are down [from last July] and that's to be expected, and this horrible drought is not helping at all.
"But we seem to chugging along. We get a lot of visitors coming through because, like many towns, we've got a lot of unique attractions. We're also fortunate of a weekend to get a lot of people from Armidale coming down to our beautiful little town."
Cr Pearce said the Library was an important centre that catered for all ages of the community.
"We continue to upgrade and update our library. The Information Hub, where our computers and stuff like that, are well utilised and actually booked overtime every day, every week," he said.
"It's just great to see our people getting in there and doing stuff, and during school holidays the place is packed."
Cr Pearce said there were funding allocations set aside in a budget for an upgrade.
"We are looking at doing some changes, making it a bit bigger, putting some new rooms in there. There are plans afoot to make it bigger and better,' he said.
"Just at the moment we are looking at all options.
"It's the same with the VIC. We're making plans to have improvements in there as well. We're probably one of the few that hasn't got any air-conditioning or heating systems."
Cr Pearce said all the changes were on track, in line and hopefully would be taken care of in the near future.
