Davies delivered six goals in the Redmen's 12-1 thrashing of Easts.
Heading into the clash, Davies was already leading the Northern Inland Premier League competition for goals scored but he extended that with the huge haul in the round 19 fixture.
"Jake Davies, he got six against his old club, his father was coaching them so I think that was an enjoyable afternoon for him," Norths coach John Edmunds said.
"Mitch Cooper got three and Elijah Barnes got two and there was an own goal.
"The strike force did their job and Jake had a day out.
"To get six goals in a game, it took half my career to get that many I think and he gets it in one day."
The Redmen hit the front early with three goals in the opening five minutes.
Edmunds praised his team for capitalising on their chances.
"The cold conditions made them very keen to get out there and play and they were switched on from the first minute," he said.
"Still let one in, defenders were pretty dirty about that one too.
"We got 12 goals and we only had three goal scorers so that was the strike force so that was good.
"We kept going and to Easts credit they kept playing the game, they were down on numbers but their attitude was great, to be highly commended.
"We certainly didn't do that, they just played the game, kept going and we just kept scoring."
The Redmen have battled with injuries this season but have the bye this weekend.
Edmunds said they are "going to enjoy the week off" before they turn their attention to the final two rounds against North Companions and Demon Knights.
"We have just starting to get a few numbers back from injuries and things like that so a week off will probably do us a world of good," he said.
