Narwan's John Roberts thought it was a concern when Moree players began to be injured.
"Stan ended up saying he was concerned about his players welfare when they started dropping with injuries. So, we respected that," he said.
"We just said,'No worries, there's no point in you guys injuring yourselves anymore.' It was 48-6 with 30 minutes to go.
"They had a decent forward pack, that's what the talk is, but our young fellows took it to them. There was plenty of talk from them that they were going to come over and give it to us, but that didn't seem to be the case."
The last time these two sides clashed was in Round 5, when Narwan travelled across to Broughton Oval in Moree and was defeated 38-24.
Roberts said Narwan played that game with an under-strength side, and Saturday's game was took to the field minus two of their forwards.

He said the team was finding more belief and finding more want, to do it for their community and themselves. He said he had worried about the team taking the recent break.
"Because we had the long-weekend and the bye off, they didn't do too much, but come Monday and Wednesday this last week, everyone turned up," he said.
"We're 'on point, on song', I would say. The last 10 minutes in the first-half, the two weeks definitely showed. We lacked a bit of discipline with ball errors and missed tackles.
"But we came back out firing in the second-half."
Narwan will play another home game this Saturday when they face the Armidale Rams at Newling Oval, but the game Roberts is most concerned about is against the Moree Boomerangs in Round 12 on July 6.
"We're just building for that game because the last time we travelled out there it wasn't a full-strength side. When they came here we had a full strength and showed them how to play," he said.
