Three break and enters were reported, Inspector Matt Hemsworth said, one at the local veterinary shop, and two in Dumaresq and Bligh Streets.
Four motor vehicles were damaged in attempts to steal. One man had two expensive spotlights stolen from the front of his motor vehicle.

One motor vehicle was stolen, but has since been recovered.
Not all offences have been recorded as yet. Police would like the public to come forward if they were subjected to criminal behaviour over night.
Police are investigating the possibility that the offenders are not locals, but were travelling south along the New England Highway.
