To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Harbour Bridge walk when a quarter of a million people walked in the People's Walk for Reconciliation Armidale will again walk their bridge.
This years Bridge Walk will also be held on, Sorry Day, Sunday, May 26, at the beginning of National Reconciliation Week.
This year will be quite special as former residents and their families from the Kinchela Aboriginal Boys' Home in Kempsey will be in town with families for a Reunion, and will join the Armdiale community at this event.

"The major feature of the Armidale walk is the strong encouragement to walk the two bridges with people you don't already know. walking along side-by-side, it is much easier to have a conversation the if you are just standing there."
Held at the Creeklands people will gather and walk over the Stephens Bridge and across the footbridge on Faulkner Street, on Sunday May 26 2019.Please assemble 12 noon, Sunday May 26 Creeklands,near the Visitor Centre, Marsh/Dumaresq.
