The Uralla Tigers men's team have experienced a perfect start to the season but face a Warialda Wombats team who have also snared two wins from their two outings.
In round one, Uralla snared a win over Walcha while Warialda beat Bundarra.
In round two, the Tigers toppled the Bullets in Bingara while the Wombats pipped Ashford.
Uralla captain-coach Josh Clark is expecting a tight tussle, particularly in the forward pack.
"I think our backs can dominate them, just our forwards have got to get over the top of their good pack," he said.
"I have got some big boppers on the bench.
"Myself, Jake Brett and Mike Moran is on the bench and we are all over 100kgs so we will match them for size, hopefully we will get around them with fitness."
Uralla have built themselves to be a no frills team which is exactly how they got the job done in their last outing against Bingara.
"Nothing too fancy, just did the job, got the points and went home," Clark said.
"I think the ref points we only got three and that was Brody Dexter and they got the other two.
"No one really stood out, we just worked together and got the win."
There won't be a league tag fixture with Warialda forfeiting due to lack of numbers.
"Our girls aren't too happy about it because they have got two weeks off now but that is what happens I suppose," Clark said.
