In their last FIH Pro League outings on Australian soil for 2019, the Hockeyroos were pipped 1-nil by Argentina in wet conditions on Saturday night before falling to Trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand 3-1 in slippery conditions on Sunday night.
The back-to-back losses saw the Hockeyroos drop to fourth in the standings.
Argentina captain Delfina Merino's 24th minute strike was all that split the two sides on Saturday. The Aussies had a late chance to snatch a draw with a last gasp effort from Mariah Williams earning a penalty corner, but Morgan couldn't convert.
On Sunday the Hockeyroos struggled to adjust to the wet conditions particularly in front of goal with many of their shots firing across the face or being cut off by a tenacious New Zealand defence.
"We've got to be able to finish, that's the clear concern for us," Hockeyroos Coach Paul Gaudoin said.
"We had a number of chances and we're not putting them away. That's giving the other teams opportunities."
The Hockeyroos next match is an ANZAC Day clash against New Zealand in Auckland.
