Two full days of dressage are set to grace the equestrian centre with some of the region’s best horse and rider combinations mounting up for the event.
From unrestricted preliminary tests through to FEI-level Intermediate levels, everyone is catered for.
The club’s publicity officer Megan Bourke said, while the recent rain has deterred some people from making the trip, it is set to be a high quality event.
“We have a huge range of riders coming along to what we consider to be our pinnacle event of the year,” she said.
“The championships are always good for everyone to see where they are at with nearly a year’s worth of competition’s under their belts. There will be a presentation at the end of the day with a lot of local businesses getting behind the club to donate prizes and support us, so we are thankful to them.”
