The Tigers were beaten in a gallant golden point finish last Saturday at Woodville Oval by the Guyra Super Spuds but they have one more shot at landing a place in the big dance.
Of the major semi-final, Uralla captain-coach Josh Clark lauded the efforts of his side in what he described as one of the best clashes he’s been involved in.
“I reckon it was one of the better games I have seen to be honest,” he said.
“I watched the video, bloody hell.
“I have played in a lot of first grade games that weren't that good.”
There were plenty of weary bodies after last Saturday’s game but Clark believes his team can rise up to the occasion and land the grand final spot.
“We definitely won't be struggling to get back up,” he said.
“I think we are more on a high than anything.
“I know we lost but we played exactly how we wanted to and I think there were times in the match where we definitely could have won.
“We are in good spirits.
“They live for footy in Uralla so getting back up and playing again after a loss like that isn't hard because we want to play with our mates and have a good time.
“Win, lose or draw, everyone always turns up the next week and puts in their all.”
The Tigers are yet to determine the full make-up of their team.
“We will be running out there full-strength, bar if Vinnie Moran doesn't pull up because he's got a bit of a torn calf but there might be a bit of a surprise entry if he doesn't play so we will still be full-strength,” Clark said.
“We are going to try our best.
“They are a good side but we are going out there to win.”
Games begin at 1pm with the league tag between the Walcha Jillaroos and Bingara Missiles.
The men’s will follow.
