Amanda Frost, Retail Manager, Armidale Central said, “We’re bringing the community together for those who are doing it tough. We want to raise $9500 – enough to send a semi-trailer load of hay to our struggling farmers on behalf of Armidale Central.
“We’re kicking off the campaign with a $1000 donation,” she said.
Buy a Bale is a branch of Rural Aid, which works to support rural communities across Australia during times of natural disasters, and when our communities need a helping hand.
“Everyone has the opportunity to make a difference with a small contribution,” Ms Frost said. “$20 is enough to buy a small bale of hay, and food donations can be delivered to the families who are being tested through one of the driest periods our state has ever seen.”
