The Rams’ one and only win this year came in round two against the Tigers.
“They have improved a lot over the last couple of weeks we have noticed so we are expecting a hard game,” Rams’ assistant coach Luke Kirkby said.
“We are just going to have to step up ours.”
Injuries have hampered the side throughout the season but coming off a bye, Kirkby is hoping the extra week has helped.
“I know there has been a few people with some niggles but the week off would have done us good,” he said.
“I am hoping we have got a few players back.”
“It would be very helpful.”
While still lowly on the ladder, Tingha have been improving throughout the season and Kirkby said his team have to be consistent for the whole game, not just in patches.
“They are a very fast and mobile side so we just have to defend that,” he said.
“We defended really well against Inverell in the first half but in the second half they blew us off the park there.
“We just have to make sure we play for 80 minutes rather than 40 and we should be sweet.”
“I am looking forward to the game, it should be good.
