DK will head to Coffs Harbour to play Goonellabah for the clash and, if they win, will play again on Sunday to determine whether they progress in the competition.
“Goonellabah, we don't know too much about them, we just look at the ladder and they are not going that well so that is encouraging for us,” DK coach Evan Quaife said.
“There are 12 teams and they are second or third from the bottom. They are unknown to us but they come from the Far North Coast and there are no pushovers up there.”
Quaife’s side will head east with a full contingent of players.
“We only have one or two that couldn't make it because of work commitments,” he said.
Last Saturday Demon Knights missed out on premier league points with a 1-nil loss to Oxley Vale Attunga.
“A draw probably would have been a fair result in my mind, we did enough to win so we will have to improve on that performance to give Goonellabah a shake,” Quaife said.
“We want to have some more shots at goals, we didn't have many at all on the weekend so that will be the focus.”
