Throughout New South Wales, there have been events for old people – Seniors.
One of the most interesting was in Glen Innes in New England where teenagers, aged 11 to 16, engaged with older people to explain their argot.
Kids have probably always delighted in secret language that only they understand, but it can be infuriating for grown ups.
As a public service, we decided to interpret.
