Normally a feature of the Uralla Show, the woodchop will go ahead even though the show has been cancelled.
This important event on the woodchop calendar attracts some of the nation’s best axeman.
You can see them displaying their skill in tree felling races on the ground and on a tiny springboard, high in the air.
The gate entry is free and the show society will be providing a barbecue and bar all day.
This is an opportunity for people from all over the district to have a great day out to watch experts in action and to demonstrate their support for our local show.
The woodchopping starts at 10.00 am, parking is available on the ground.
The bar will operate from 10.00 am.
You can bring your car in but a reminder licencing laws prohibit any alcohol through the gate.
