Mr Joyce’s office was closed for a short time on Friday after police were alerted of a “suspicious” delivery around 1:30pm.
But it was just paperwork from Canberra.
“It was just wrongfully packaged,” Armidale Police Sergeant Gemma Gallagher told Fairfax Media on Friday afternoon.
Today Barnaby Joyce, along with six other politicians, will find out the future of their political careers.
The decision is expected to be handed down around 2.15pm.
