The new initiative involves intensive English language teaching and cultural familiarisation and its two classes of international students are already full.
The school say they are also in discussions with students from other countries including in South Asia.
PLC Armidale principal Nicola Taylor said she was please with the new program.
“We are thrilled at the initial success of the program, which has been well received by international families, initially in China,” she said.
Deputy Prime Minister and New England MP Barnaby Joyce will officially launch the new international program on Friday.
