Many of the local schools, both primary and secondary, entered in the bands and ensembles events held over two days.
As usual the Band Night on Tuesday evening provided some fine performances with a range of music from classical to jazz performed by secondary and open groups.
With so many good performances it is hard to single out a specific entry but Kentucky Public School gave a very fine performance on a huge number of marimbas, winning their section.
The eisteddfod winds up with the gala concert on Sunday, June 18 at 2pm in the auditorium at the Old Teachers College.
