The Outlaws didn’t get to hit the pitch last weekend with rain saturating the fields in Tamworth and the games called off.
Both sides will try their luck this Saturday when they head to Tamworth with the aim at keeping their positions in tact.
The A grade side face a tough Cougars outfit, who they managed to narrowly beat in round two 11-10, while the B grade team play the Cavaliers.
Founder of the Outlaws Mick Alldis will suit up in the A grade team and said they have highlighted key areas to fix up which will be essential to claiming a win.
“[We are] hoping to consolidate our positions,” he said.
“We have been hitting the ball really well but our fielding has been a bit sloppy and this is an area where we are hoping to tighten up and make our defensive game match our offence.”
The sides will be back on home turf at SportUNE the following round, June 3, to play the Warriors.
The B grade commences at 11.45am before the A grade starts at 2pm.
“Come down and wear some orange and black and cheer the Armidale Outlaws on,” Alldis said.
