
FIRE UNDER CONTROL
THE FIRE at a Schultz Avenue home has now been extinguished.
Nobody was harmed in the blaze.
Region North Three Duty Commander Wayne Zikan said the fire began at the rear of the home before it got into the roof of the building.
“The fire was in the roof of the building which made it difficult to extinguish,” he said.
“However the fire has now been extinguished but the residents will be unable to move back in as the property is heavily damaged.”
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
FIRE DESTROYS SCHULTZ AVENUE HOME

FIRE has has destroyed a home on Schultz Avenue.
Crews from Armidale Fire and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service are currently on the scene.
The fire appeared to be in the roof of the building and the roof has collapsed.
The fire is now under control and Region North Three Duty Commander Wayne Zikan has confirmed that no persons were home when the blaze broke out.
