A national icon in the pirate world, Pirate Pete travels the country performing for children. Dressed head to toe in the finest pirate garb, he took preschool on a nautical adventure packed with songs, games, stories and laughter.
Supervisor Alesha Thomas said Pirate Pete was a regular at the preschool and a favourite among children.
“We don’t go on many excursions so we get different performers into preschool for the kids,” she said. The children will be in pirate mode for the next week, “we have a pirate flag in the playground and the kids have dress ups”.
The playground even has its own pirate ship flying the jollyroger.
Adventureland is a not-for-profit preschool voluntarily run by a committee.
