Mia Emanuel, Hayley Lennon, Nathan Czinner and Jake McCann are in Canberra playing for NSW in Australian Under 13 and 14 Indoor Hockey Championships.
Presbyterian Ladies College student Emanuel will represent the girls under 14s, while O’Connor Catholic College students Lennon, Czinner and McCann will represent the under 13s girl and boys teams respectively.
The four were selected to play for NSW following November’s NSW Indoor Hockey Titles in Tamworth.
Czinner and McCann were part of the New England side who took out the under 13s division two title following a 7-1 dismantling of Parkes in the grand final.
Czinner was a clear standout of the competition, scoring more than 20 goals across the three days of the tournament.
It is the first crack for Lennon, Czinner and McCann at the national titles, while it is the second go round for Emanuel.
Czinner and McCann were also picked in the NSW outdoor state side in 2014.
The three-day tournament starts in Canberra today and wraps up on Sunday.
