Triebe played a starring role with bat and ball for City who claimed their third consecutive win by knocking off the competition leaders.
Easts won the toss and batted first but were in trouble early when Triebe (4-33) trapped Dean Moore (1) in front LBW.
Fellow opener Nathan Porter (6) was out shortly after to have Easts reeling at 2-10.
Jock Cartwright (84) was able to rescue Easts for the second week in a row.
It was again he and Todd Francis (46) who steadied the ship for Easts with an 89-run partnership for the third wicket.
City were able to keep the big-hitting Easts line-up under wraps for the majority of the innings and restricted them to 6-197 from their 44 overs, but City skipper Stephen Butler thought it could have been much less.
“We dropped Jock Cartwright three times,” he said.
“I felt if we could get him out we would keep them under control.
“They were 103 from 30 overs, but they got away from us a little at the end.” Butler said it was a tremendous performance from Triebe.
“Karl bowled very well,” he said.
“His last spell was what did it for me, he bowled very well at the death.
“He’s too quick for half the blokes in Armidale.”
In reply Kyle Taylor (34) and Brad Smith (18) again got City off to a good start with a 47-run opening stand.
Smith fell to Justin McKay (1-21) to break the stand, but that brought Triebe to the crease.
Usually a lower order bat, Triebe (73) batted at first drop for the second consecutive week and was in the runs again.
“I think he’s shaken off the nightwatchman tag,” Butler said.
“He batted well last week so I thought I wouldn’t change a winning formula.”
Triebe’s match winning knock included 10 boundaries and City reached the required total in the 43rd over.
Moore (3-36) was the pick of the Easts bowlers.
