A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been released from custody on bail after he was charged in connection to an alleged group break-in that ended with a man being knifed in the torso.

The teenager, who cannot be identified, was arrested after police claim he was found hiding inside the home of a man who was stabbed after a group of men allegedly broke into his home and stole his belongings.
The accused fronted children's court on Wednesday and did not enter pleas to charges of aggravated break and enter while armed, and breaching bail.
The magistrate granted the teenager strict conditional bail and ordered him to appear in court when the matter is called again in early December.
