Armidale City Westside BYE
North Armidale Redmen and TAS deferred
South Armidale defeated Inverell by five goals to nil goals to nil at Inverell. Tom Davies and Michael Foster kicked the season off with goals in the first half. Followed up by goals to Josh Frost, Jaime Wright and Josh Stace giving the Scorpions a great start to the season with the five-nil win.
East Armidale Suburbs by eight goals to one over Demon Knights at the Rologas Complex. The first half was evenly contested with East Armidale leading by two goals to one through goals to captain Hoani Morrell and Basim Khudher, and for Demon Knights Ahiked Idira scored. The understrength Demon Knights could not counter the strong and relatively fit new configuration the Suburbs bring to this season in the second half. The suburbs scored another six through a goal to Basim Khudher. The stars of the game were Hoani Morrell scoring two more for his hattrick and Basom Khudher scoring three more to bring his tally to four for the match.
For Demon Knights the new signing of the exciting striker Ahiked Idira will see them scoring some great goals during the season. He scored his second of the match in fine style.
The game between North Armidale Redmen and TAS has been deferred due to the availability of boarders.
Armidale City Westside had the BYE.
Open Division 2
Guyra United defeated North Armidale Redmen at Rologas.
Both teams were confident at half time that they could take this one with the score one all and many chances provided. Ben Lennon scored for Guyra and Dan Stanley for the Redmen. Scott Leven was forced to play in the unfamiliar goalkeeper position after Tim Tarrant was injured. Tyson Buroy and last years Div 3 golden boot Norman Minitti scored for Guyra and Dan Stanley his second for the Redmen giving Guyra the three goal to two win.
South Armidale defeated Inverell by four goals to nil at Inverell. Like the firsts Souths got off to a quick start leading by three at half time through goals to Drew Kingston, Dom Waters and Hassain Shaqooli. Hassain scored the only goal in the second half to give the Scoprions the four goals to nil win.
East Armidale defeated Demon Knights at Rologas. Demon Knights lead at half time with goals to Chris Daley and William Liver More. The Suburbs clicked better in the second half along with Demon Knights running out of puff and players saw the game turn in favour of the Suburbs. Goals to Connor Miller, Juda Flint and Kadiun Shain Baqi gave the Suburbs the three goals to two win.
Armidale City Westside had the BYE.

Guyra defeated Armidale City Westside at Harris Park
Michael Barrett scored a goal for Armidale City Westside and Robert Sisson and Tex Tasso scored for Guyra in the first half. Unfortunately, the match card does not indicate who scored the other five goals. If you know please add them to this post.
Armidale City Westside defeated Glen Innes at Rologas
Again, a very close game with both teams not making the most of their opportunities. The half time score did not change giving ACWS FC the two goals to one win. Scorers were Sam Miller and Farat Khilia for ACWS FC and Connor Duddy for Glen Innes.
The TAS versus North Armidale game was not played, though North Armidale did turn up.
The Demon Knights versus East Armidale ended up in a forfeit to the Suburbs.

Armidale City Westside Guyra drew at Harris Park
Armidale City Westside lead at half time through goals to David Green while Bobby Blair scored for Guyra. In the second half an own goal against Armidale City Westside saw the game outcome a two all draw.
The South Armidale and East Armidale game at the Sportsground was called off due to the weather.
