Normal Council operations will resume at 8:30am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
Council's Customer Service and the Administration Office will close at 2:30pm on Thursday, 24 December 2020 and will reopen at 8:30am on Monday, 4 January 2021.
Uralla library
The Uralla Library will close at 2:30pm on Thursday, 24 December 2020 and will reopen at 2:00pm on Monday, 4 January 2021.
The after-hours library return chute will be available for returning library items during this period.
All Council facilities will be closed on Christmas Day, including the Uralla Swimming Pool, Uralla Visitor Information Centre, Bundarra and Uralla Landfills, and Kingstown Transfer Station.
Waste collections
Kerbside waste and recycling collection dates during the closure will be unaffected.
Uralla Shire Council General Manager Kate Jessep said Council would be available during the closure to respond to emergency requests.
"Council will have limited staff operating throughout the holiday shutdown period to respond to emergency events only," she said.
"For non-urgent requests, please email Council or submit a request through the Council website.
"Alternately, you can telephone Council and leave a message with your contact information. The Customer Service team will return your enquiry on return from the holiday break."
