The re-build of the club has continued and they nearly had enough players to field four teams across the three grades in the senior competition.
"We have really good numbers for seconds and thirds," senior cricket coordinator Adrian Cameron said.
"We were just on the verge of going to field two third grade sides but we reneged at the last minute and just went with the three grades.
"We have got a little bit of depth in second grade so we are looking pretty good.
"Once we get everyone on the park, we will be pretty competitive."
Across the senior squads there are a few new and returning faces joining to boost the squads.
Second grade will see Guyra locals Grant and Joey Ryan re-join from the Tamworth competition while Glen Innes representative all-rounder Matt Campion has indicated he is eager to play a part throughout the season.
"I am not sure where he [Campion] will start yet but we will get him down and have a look at him first," Cameron said.
"He is going to be pretty handy.
"Seconds, Grant Ryan, and his son Joey, they played in the Tamworth comp last year. They have come back up and Grant will captain seconds this year."

The first grade team will face grand finalists Hillgrove for their opening match at Ted Mulligan Oval on Saturday.
From last year's top squad, captain Matt Jackson has opted to sit out this season while Tyson Burey, Mitch Woods and Troy Martin are unavailable for the opening clash.
Cameron said they haven't finalised their side for the match but Kieran Wicks is expected to step up while BJ Cameron has recovered from the injuries which hampered his 2018-19 season.
"Young Wicksy will step up, he played a few first grade games last year and went really well," Cameron said.
"BJ is right to bowl now, he is probably the fittest he has been for a little while so that will probably help out a little bit.
"He has been seeing a physio in Sydney and then he has been at that 360 Academy he went away with to Barbados, he has been seeing them once a month.
"They have worked on his action to smooth him out a little bit.
"He has been training pretty hard so hopefully it will pay off for him a bit this year because he didn't get much of a go last year."
