Two 10-minute closures will be required per hour, a total of six closures per night, to allow the units to be lifted into place by a 100-tonne crane.
The bridge widening work is part of the New England Highway safety upgrade, funded from the Saving Lives on Country Roads program, and includes some road closures to allow for the safe installation of 10 pre-cast concrete units.
Thursday night from 7pm to 10pm stop and go closures will be in place
From this week, a crane will be used to carry out other lifts, without major traffic impacts, although speed reductions will be in place and motorists may experience minor delays.
