A total of $12,250 was raised at the auction with $6700 from the Jillaroos set and $5550 from the Roos.
Forward Josh Lordanic forked out the most for the men’s number 10 jersey at $1750 while the Hannah Byrne’s 18 was the top for the Jillaroos at $510.
“It was so good to see our sponsors and the Walcha community out supporting the event and the charities,” Roos president Michael Aspinall said.
“It was also excellent to have the Uralla club stick around for the auction and a couple of their players purchased jerseys so thank you to them.
“The jerseys and socks looked great on the field and well done to the girls for beating Uralla who were undefeated heading into the game.
“The boys also played well but were beaten by a top side in Uralla.”
This Saturday marks the final round of the Group 19 season with Walcha travelling to Guyra to take on the Super Spuds.
