Sailing
Racing for the 2nd series of the Thunderbolt Regatta was held over one day at the Lake Keepit Sailing Club on Sunday. It was an eventful day with rain and wind from the south west wind generated by a thunderstorm providing a good breeze for the morning races.
The feature race, for the Thunderbolt trophy, was sailed in a northeast breeze of ten knots making for ideal sailing conditions. The three crews from New England Sailing Club dominated the series and were able to regain the Thunderbolt Trophy.
